Tips on Preparing Your Quilt

Be sure your have seams of a good 1/4 inch, and back sew the end of each seam. When your quilt top is in our machine, it's under some stress, so if your seams are compromised, they could come undone.

If you need to piece the back, please use a half-inch seam allowance, and press the seams open.

The batting and backing need to be at least 8 inches longer and wider than your top. We will return to you any batting and backing we cut after the quilting is finished.

SuperStitchin exclusively uses Quilters Dream Batting when supplying the batting. Quilters Dream uses the finest fibers to create quilt batting of unsurpassed quality and consistency.

Please clip any loose threads from the top of the quilt.

We generally use the same thread for the top and back for best results.
